Metro recommends using the traditional method to estimate the correct number of panels for a roof. This system
requires measurements to be taken on the roof and using either a divisionary formula or the rafter & roof length charts attached,
calculate the number of panels up a rafter and across the roof area. It also explains how to correctly estimate the extra panels to
cover hip & valley cuts for waste.
